Meatball Ron Fails Bigly in Presidential Announcement

Ron "Meatball" DeSantis made his presidential announcement yesterday in a widely anticipated Twitter space, which in theory was going to be a creative new idea, however it turned into for the most part an epic fail and a total embarrassment for Meatball Ron.

The start of a much-anticipated Twitter event in which Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis planned to announce his 2024 Republican presidential bid was repeatedly disrupted Wednesday when Twitter's servers apparently could not handle the surge in traffic.

The app crashed repeatedly as Twitter users tried to listen to the event where Twitter owner Elon Musk joined DeSantis for the announcement.

DeSantis eventually was able to speak, about 20 minutes after the scheduled start, after Musk closed the initial Twitter Spaces event and started a second one on the app. That space attracted about 161,000 users, according to Twitter’s public-facing data, as DeSantis read a short speech.

“I am running for president of the United States to lead our great American comeback,” DeSantis said.

The audio-only event, which ultimately lasted over an hour, featured a string of known conservative media figures and operatives praising DeSantis and then posing questions aimed at many of the candidate’s favorite talking points. - NBC News

To be honest it was just boring to sit through and listen to the space just to write this article, I listened to it and it was really just an hour long political ad, it was quite clearly scripted, the questions were scripted and nobody came on questioning DeSantis. Obviously the point of a Twitter space and how it's been marketed even with this event was that it was going to be some sort of a "public square" Q&A type situation, of course that did not happen.

This really just goes to show how astroturfed these Trumpism without Trump candidates are, they have to be artificially propped up by these tech CEOs like Peter Thiel and Elon Musk to get any kind of attention. I really think that without this DeSantis would've been getting a miniscule audience on Sean Hannity or some other gay Fox news show nobody cares about.

At the end of the day it was boring because there was no substance. The talking points are the same as any other mainstream GOP candidate is throwing out there.

1. Border crisis

2. The economy

3. Law and order

4. The "Woke Agenda"

I watched Nick Fuentes' breakdown on Ron DeSantis' rhetoric and it was really good I encourage you to watch it here but I will still give my take on it further.

All of these terms DeSantis is using and really as a whole the mainstream conservative side are using, they're all meaningless. I guess we can start with "Border crisis."

When DeSantis talks about the border crisis it's important to understand that he's not using the word immigration, he has no problem with immigration he just wants to stop the "cartels" and have a "secure border." That doesn't mean he wants to stop the third world immigrants coming in that are taking up entire city blocks in El Paso sleeping on sidewalks. It's just for looks. Like I said, there's no substance with this. This isn't a real solution to the problem at hand, the solution is to shutdown the border at this point.

Even without looking deep into the rhetoric we can just look at what he's done in Florida by doing the stupid busing scheme allowing immigrants to get deeper into the country and move into red suburbs of cities. I've talked about this a lot and how stupid it is on my show and on my twitter timeline.

Honestly we can skip the economy and law and order because I think after addressing his stance on immigration it already tells you that he doesn't care about law and order or about this country's economy. If he did he would be shutting down the border and expelling immigrants so American's can have their jobs back.

Then on "the woke agenda" again, this is just a word void of any meaning. It's the latest boomer catchphrase. Nobody wants to talk about right and wrong and good and evil instead it's "The woke mind virus." This is just low hanging fruit, low iq dumb conversation at this point that's really not even worth talking about.

That's really the entire thing to takeaway from the DeSantis campaign there's nothing worth talking about, this guy sucks. There is zero-personality, zero charisma, zero incentives to vote for him. The only thing I hear is that he's young, but does that really matter? He is literally trying to imitate an older man and is doing a terrible job at that. The man is being drug around by his news anchor wife who is coaching him on how to act on TV. Meanwhile Trump is giving unscripted interviews again on CNN.

This announcement is really just a foreshadowing of his entire campaign, personally I just think he is doing this for money and will pocket the campaign money and knows he'll have to concede in the primary to Trump.
